About Therapy
Psychotherapy provides the space to think about yourself and your life. Difficulties can arise out of relationships, from beliefs and attitudes, and because of the attitudes embedded in our culture and society. Through a shared exploration you may find relief from recurring difficulties, understand how past experiences or worries about the future are causing difficulties in your life. This understanding
can help you start to make changes and help you to feel more in control.

My approach is integrative and I draw upon a range of theories and models that best supports the growth and change processes. I prioritise establishing a safe, trusting, mutually respectful and collaborative alliance in which we can together explore whatever issues have contributed to your decision to seek therapy at this time.
I specialise in trauma focused therapy and offer eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) to help process traumatic past events.
